Recipes Using Seasonal Fruit for July

July is a busy season for farmers as most produce is ready or almost ready for harvest. Some produce, in particular, are best eaten soon after harvest, such as peaches, raspberries, apples, and cherries. Although these fruits are bursting with flavor, if you wait too long, their flavor diminishes with time. We did the research for you and included recipes for salads, desserts (with and without oven use!) and sauces in this article so you can jump into cooking quickly after purchasing.

Here is a tip before purchasing seasonal fruits this summer - it is best to buy seasonal ingredients from a local farm or farmer’s market. When purchasing locally, you are choosing the freshest ingredients that were recently harvested (and therefore more delicious) and your purchase supports local farms who can then sell produce at a fair price.
