Scrambled Eggs Video
We love scrambled eggs because they’re quick, easy, and versatile. Here, we make plain scrambled eggs, but you can also add cheese or veggies for a fuller meal. Culikid’s Executive Director walks through how to make scrambled eggs in this step-by-step video for any skill level and any age to make.
Scrambled Eggs (1 serving)
Ingredients:
2 eggs
Butter, olive oil OR nonstick spray
1/2 tablespoon milk OR water
Salt and pepper
Tools needed:
Small skillet
Bowl
Whisk OR fork
Wooden spoon for stirring
Directions:
Wash hands with warm soap and water.
Get all your ingredients and tools.
Put your skillet on the burner and turn the stove on to medium heat.
Crack the eggs against a flat surface like the countertop and break the eggs into your bowl.
Measure 1/2 tablespoon of milk or water and add it to your eggs.
Use a whisk or a fork to thoroughly whisk your eggs.
When your pan is hot enough, add a small amount of butter (or olive oil or nonstick cooking spray) to the pan, making sure to coat the entire pan.
Add the eggs to the pan and immediately start to stir, pushing the cooked eggs towards the center and allowing the liquid (non-cooked eggs) to touch the hot pan and cook.
When the eggs are almost done cooking, season with a little bit of salt and pepper.
Mix the eggs again and make sure all the eggs get cooked completely. When there is no more liquid left, remove the eggs from the pan to a plate.
Eat and enjoy!
